ANOUNCEMENTS
Sports Registration Forms:
If you haven’t signed up for a sport yet please return your student’s registration form to school as soon as possible. We would like to start setting up teams, practices for each sport. We sent out registrations in the Wednesday folder a week or so ago. If you need registration forms you can pick up a registration form in the office or you can select one of the links below

IMPORTANT – Bowling Registration Changes:
The registration forms that were sent out for Bowling had some incorrect information. The Athletic Association was throwing around some new ideas on how we can make Bowling easier for everyone to join and enjoy. The idea was to prepay the bowlers using registration fees collected so students wouldn’t have to pay weekly for lane fees. We are not able to prepay the lane fees as we once thought. So students will still be required to pay $2.50 per game per week. Usually they can get 2 games in per week so if the students bring $5 per week that should be fine. We will continue to work with the bowling facility to see if we can make adjustments to lane fees in the future. We apologize for the confusion and any inconvenience this has caused. If you have any questions please contact the athletic association.
Cheerleading:
Registration forms for cheerleading (1st – 8th grades) need to be turned in no later than October 8th. The first practice for cheerleading will be held on Monday October 15th at 3:00pm in the school cafeteria.
Varsity/JV Boys Basketball:
If you haven’t already sent in your registration forms for Boys JV or Varsity Basketball (4th-8th grades) please get your registration forms in as soon as you can. We are working with Holy Child school in Bridgeville to set up our team and aquire practice gym times for preseason practices.
Varsity/JV Girls Basketball:
We have not received as many registrations as we had hoped for for Varsity and JV (4th-5th) Girls Basketball (4th-8th grades) so we want to first check that everyone got their registration forms. Even though the girls season is in the spring we still want to get everyone signed up early. We are looking to get the girls teams set up with some preseason tournaments in December. So please send in your registration forms as soon as possible.
Boys and Girls Freshmen Basketball:
The Boys Freshmen Basketball team (K-3rd) is looking to start up practices soon in early October so please be sure to send in your registration forms as soon as possible. The practice times are Monday and Friday at 6:30pm at Borland Manor Elementary School. The games will be held on Saturday mornings between 10:00am and 2:00pm at Allison Park Elementary School in Chartiers Houston. If you are unsure that your child, especially the younger students, will like basketball you can just sign up and come to the first few practices to see if they will like basketball.
Cross Country News:
We would like to congratulate the Cross Country team on a successful season. They worked hard and really did a great job this year. The runners did exceptionally well in all there meets. This week they will be competing for the championship for the South Hills section. On October 13th they will be competing for the Pittsburgh Diocese Championship. We would like to wish all the student athletes the best of luck in their races.
Our New Email Address and Events Calander:
We created a new email address for our Athletic Association athletics@saintpatsschool.org. All of our email correspondence will be sent out from this email address this year. This was done so we can establish a better communication between the Athletic Association, parents and faculty. With this new email address we were also able to create our own Athletics Calendar page on the schools website this way everyone can see when practices, games and events are for all sports. You can also subscribe to this page and link it to your online calendar
Thank you all and God Bless!!!
